We once again started our drive off with great sightings of a couple of giraffe, kudu, wildebeest and zebras. We slowly made our way west and came across a large breeding herd of elephants crossing the road. They were extremely relaxed and offered us great photographic opportunities. Next we found a pride of lions, three females and two mature cubs, resting in some thick bushes. Then to top it all off we found a cheetah, resting in the shade on our way back to the lodge.

General game was once again in abundance on the afternoon drive with great sightings of zebra, blue wildebeest and impala. Once again we viewed the pride of lions that had been seen on the morning drive. They were still lying in the same bushes and were very relaxed; we spent quite some time with them and were finally rewarded with some interaction taking place as they started to play. They then started moving down the road and we followed them for a while before they moved off into some thick bushes once again. We then found a small breeding herd of elephants crossing the main road.
