The morning’s drive was quiet until we found a Dagga boy, old buffalo bull, who had a broken leg but still managed to walk around. General game was in abundance with great sightings of kudu, zebra and wildebeest. This was followed by Karula, female leopard, who was stalking impala, but unfortunately wasn’t successful. We followed her for a while during which we witnessed her kill a tree squirrel. A small breeding herd of elephant was then sighted grazing right next to the vehicle. We then returned to the lodge to enjoy our breakfast.

General game was once again seen everywhere on this afternoon’s drive with great sightings of zebra, wildebeest and kudu. We then found a lone buffalo bull in a mud wallow; he seemed to be having the time of his life while he rolled around. We had a spectacular sighting of an elephant bull grazing next to the vehicle; he was a big tusker which is always a wonderful sight to see.
