We had just left the lodge when we found a female Leopard up in a tree and with good reason, as the Nkuhuma lion pride was close by lying in an open area.  Some of the sub adults were playing around in the cool weather.  Our next sighting was a Rhino bull crossing the road right in front of us. After coffee we saw a young male lion and lioness that were relaxing under a tree. Later we found Ntima (female leopard) crossing the road in front of the vehicle. Visual was not to good as she soon moved of into the thick undergrowth.

The weather didn't look very promising as we headed out for the afternoon drive.  General game was in abundance with great sightings of Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala and even some Common Reedbuck which are very rare to see. We later came across a male Rhino grazing on the fresh green grass. He was extremely relaxed and offered us great photographic opportunities.  We then drove passed the Hyena den and found two adults and two pups outside the den. It was great to watch the pups paying with each other.  While having sundowners we heard lions calling in the distance and later found the same young male lion and lioness from this morning. Then to our amazement the female started roaring, this really is an awesome experience as you can actually feel the vibration of her roar through your body.  We spent the rest of the drive enjoying this sighting before returning to the lodge to enjoy dinner.
