The morning drive started off with a large breeding herd of elephants making their way through the bush. Next we came across a breeding herd of about three hundred buffalo, they were very relaxed as some were lying down and others grazing next to the vehicle. We also had some fantastic sightings of general game, such as giraffe, zebra and blue wildebeest. We then returned to the lodge for breakfast.

We first came across a small herd of giraffe on the afternoon drive today; this is always a great sighting as these animals are so graceful. Making our way west we found three rhinos wallowing in a mud pool close to one of the dams in the area. At the same dam we viewed a large elephant bull having his bath and drink for the evening. Next we spotted Karula, the female leopard, who led us to her two hidden cubs. They then followed her to were she had left her impala kill and the three of them happily started feeding creating some wonderful photographic opportunities.
