The morning drive started off on a high note once again with a large breeding herd of buffalo feeding around the vehicle. There were about four hundred buffalo in this herd and they were extremely relaxed. In the herd we saw a young calf that was not more than a couple of hours old; the adults are extremely protective of the youngsters when they are so small. General game was once again in abundance with good sightings of kudu, nyala, zebra and waterbuck. We then came across the female leopard, White Cloth, slowly walking down the road. She walked right past our vehicle but paid us no attention; we followed her for quite a while as she was on the move until she went into some thick bush and we were unable to follow. Londoz the big dominant rhino bull was found feeding and carried on as if we were not there. We then slowly started making our way back to the lodge to enjoy our breakfast.

Our afternoon drive started off with six giraffe grazing in front of the lodge, these are always such amazing animals. We then came across a small herd of zebra slowly making their way to the waterhole in front of the lodge. We followed up on two cheetahs that were seen earlier in the day on a kill, but unfortunately they started to move and we were unable to stay with them for long. We had a fantastic sighting of the female leopard Karula and her two cubs. We spent a long time with the group as much interaction was taking place between them as they played next to the vehicle; this offered us fantastic photographic opportunities. We then slowly started making our way back to the lodge but were stopped by two elephant bulls as they slowly made their way down the main road.
